1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kazi Kings platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Kazi Kings website, applications, and services.
  • "Operator" refers to tour companies, hotels, and service providers registered on the Platform.
  • "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing the Platform.
  • "Traveler" refers to individuals booking tours or services through the Platform.
  • "Content" refers to all text, images, data and materials uploaded to the Platform.

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of their account credentials
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Not upload false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Comply with all applicable laws of their jurisdiction
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform

4. Operator Responsibilities

Operators listed on Kazi Kings must:

  • Hold valid business registration and tourism licenses
  • Provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability for their services
  • Complete the verification process by submitting required documents
  • Respond to inquiries and bookings in a timely manner
  • Honour confirmed bookings and pricing
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their operations
  • Comply with local tourism regulations and safety standards

5. Bookings and Payments

  • The Platform facilitates connections between travelers and operators. The contractual relationship for any booking is between the traveler and the operator.
  • Pricing displayed on the Platform is set by operators and may be subject to change.
  • Payment terms are as agreed between the traveler and operator.
  • Platform fees and commissions are outlined in the operator's subscription agreement.
  • The Platform is not responsible for disputes between travelers and operators regarding payment.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies are set by individual operators and displayed on their listings.
  • Travelers should review the operator's cancellation policy before booking.
  • The Platform is not liable for refunds related to operator services.
  • Platform subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Users retain ownership of content they upload to the Platform.
  • By uploading content, users grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display and promote said content.
  • Users must not upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • The Platform branding, design, and proprietary features are owned by Kazi Kings.

8. Platform Liability

  • Kazi Kings acts as a marketplace platform connecting operators and travelers.
  • The Platform does not own, operate, or control any tourism services listed.
  • The Platform is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of operator services.
  • The Platform is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of operator services.
  • The Platform's liability is limited to the fees paid for Platform subscription services.

9. Verification and Trust

  • The Platform offers a verification system for operators, but verification does not constitute an endorsement.
  • Travelers should conduct their own due diligence before booking.
  • The Platform reserves the right to remove unverified or non-compliant operators.

10. Termination

  • The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Users may close their accounts at any time by contacting support.
  • Upon termination, users' data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Uganda or through mutually agreed arbitration.

12. Changes to Terms

Kazi Kings reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
